Bar and kite trim is a delicate balance that is finely tuned from the factory. Any small change to line length or position will have an effect on kite behavior. You can feel the difference any of the adjustments to the CIT (CORE intelligent Trim) system. So kite performance depends on correct and equal trim settings on both sides of the kite.
1. Equal line lengths
Correct trim and bar control requires perfectly equal line lengths, both front and back lines. Often, a small correction in line length (see video below) will resolve all your performance issues. Measure the
lines powered up and depowered to ensure they are equal side to side.

2. Lines were checked and passed. Now what?
Check the bridle attachments. Connect the bridle to the neutral position on the leading edge. Make sure the knots are on the same point on both sides! Once you have checked the same knot positions are used on both sides of the kite, test it. Does it fly any better?
3.There is still something wrong …
Over the years, the canopy material stretches and will lose some of its performance attributes which may change how the kite performs. Heavy kite use will make it more pronounced. Normally, it takes 250+ hours of use before a pro can notice the change in dynamics. You can adjust for usage by selecting more power on the CIT trim system.
